About Us
EMI specializes in metal finishing of stainless
steel. Electropolishing at EMI can provide
a chrome like appearance through micropolishing.
This type of finish is not done by buffing
and is superior to any final process that
can be done to stainless steel.
 Our
20,000 square foot facility in Hampshire,
Illinois includes a 72" by 48"
by 96" electro-polishing tank and a
36" by 48" by 96" passivate
tank, which enables us to accommodate large-size
parts. We have a state-of-the-art push/pull
ventilation system, and our waste treatment
system meets all federal, state and local
environmental regulations.
For our customers' convenience, our shipping
area includes both flat and depressed docks.
(We can also provide delivery services for
large orders.)
