Electro-max, Inc. was established in 1998 going into full operations in 1999 with 30 years of experience in the metal finishing industry. The facility has grown to 24,000 square feet since operations began. We maintain an approved specification list (review and approval by Senior Management of EMI) including over 100 specifications approved to process at our facility. A risk assessment is performed on each order before processing to ensure customer expectations and process standard requirements are met; this has achieved high marks for dramatic decrease in complaints, rejections and increase in customer satisfaction. Equipment is maintained under specification guidelines of Nadcap AC7108.
Safety Management is under the OHSA 18001 guidelines with monthly lunch and learn education with employees, annual hearing evaluations, fit testing, equipment verification, monthly emergency drills, facility safety inspections and air quality inspections by the State of Illinois.
Environmental Management is under the ISO 14001 guidelines monitored with required federal, state and local regulatory reporting, and periodic facility inspections. Our hazardous chemical program includes a trained hazardous chemical spill team as well as periodic drills with all employees.
